Eligibility Criteria for Senior Advisor Role

To qualify for the NMC Senior Advisor Post, candidates must meet stringent criteria. Applicants need an MBBS degree along with a postgraduate medical degree from a recognized university. Additionally, a total of 12 years of professional experience is required, including at least 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized Medical College after obtaining their postgraduate degree. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is 56 years as of the closing date for applications.

Moreover, officers from Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Armed Forces Medical Services, or autonomous/statutory organizations are eligible. They should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department, or have five years of service in a Level 13 post (Rs 1,23,100-2,15,900) or equivalent.
