Experts estimated the incidence of remote unprovoked seizures (RS) & drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) in first-ever status epilepticus (SE) survivors. Data from 279 SE patients were analyzed. RS risk was 20.4%, associated with specific etiologies and SE semiology. Super-refractory SE and non-convulsive SE evolution were linked to DRE. RS risk after SE was moderate, confined within 2 years, and influenced by specific etiologies & SE characteristics.

A comparative analysis shows that older age, elevated blood glucose, and abdominal adiposity are primary drivers of hypertension. Comprehensive evaluation of cardiometabolic risk profiles enables clinicians to detect overlapping metabolic dysfunctions early and optimize targeted prevention strategies.

A premature neonate developed upper limb compartment syndrome after uterine rupture extruded the arm through a scar defect. Conservative management with continuous monitoring yielded complete functional recovery and normal limb growth at 10-year follow-up, highlighting non-operative safety in selected cases.

Endoscopic posterior cervical fusion combines minimally invasive decompression, joint preparation, and rigid screw-rod fixation for atlantoaxial pathologies. Early clinical findings demonstrate solid bony union, excellent symptom relief, and minimal soft-tissue morbidity without significant vascular compromise.
