Consistent application of these guidelines minimizes diagnostic delays. In this study, the physicians successfully identified lung cancer in over a quarter of the patients by strictly following the surveillance recommendations. Additionally, the researchers noted that respiratory-led teams are well-positioned to manage the complexities of subsolid and solid nodules. This evidence-based approach ultimately leads to more precise intervention and improved clinical efficiency.
