This study followed 28 patients with transient perivascular inflammation of carotid artery (TIPIC) syndrome for a median of 58.7 months to assess clinical outcomes and risk of recurrence. Results showed that 67.8% experienced residual pain, 28.6% had clinical recurrence, and 42.9% had carotid wall thickening on ultrasound. However, no neurological complications or associated diseases were reported, suggesting TIPIC syndrome is generally benign.
