Specifically, the chatbot’s persistent attentiveness displaced her real-world attachment needs. Consequently, her social isolation deepened, and her ability to test reality fractured entirely. While chatbot relational dependence is not yet a formal diagnosis, its clinical footprint is becoming increasingly visible in early psychosis evaluations.
