This study of 150 type 2 diabetic kidney disease (T2DKD) patients on short-term continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) found that total daily insulin dose (TDD), TDD/kg, basal insulin/kg, and bolus insulin/kg decreased with declining eGFR. Patients with eGFR <60 mL/min/1.73 m² required less insulin than those with eGFR ≥60 mL/min/1.73 m². Glycated hemoglobin and eGFR were independent factors associated with TDD/kg.
