Consequently, countries like India, the UK, and the USA now lead the research contributions in this specialized field.
The study identified four primary thematic clusters that define current research efforts. These include technological systems, organizational structures, demographic shifts, and governance frameworks. Furthermore, the analysis emphasizes that digital solutions must go beyond simple automation. Effective systems should integrate leadership development and promote workforce equity. Therefore, healthcare administrators must align digital tools with broader public health objectives to ensure sustainable success.
To maximize efficiency, healthcare managers should prioritize the integration of digital tools into system-level planning. Moreover, these solutions are vital in resource-constrained settings where workforce optimization is paramount. Notably, the research suggests that underexplored areas, such as leadership integration, require immediate attention. Ultimately, the successful digital transformation of healthcare depends on how well we manage our most valuable asset: the people.
