Digital equity in geriatrics represents a critical frontier in modern healthcare, particularly as medical services increasingly migrate to online platforms. This qualitative case study explored the iPad Project, an evidence-based program designed to empower seniors through digital literacy. By using the Implementation Research Logic Model (IRLM), researchers successfully mapped the complex interactions between program strategies and environmental determinants.
Researchers conducted semi-structured interviews with 30 participants and collaborators to understand project dynamics. They specifically applied the IRLM to synthesize elements, determinants, and mechanisms of change.
