For instance, mandatory front-of-pack sodium labeling and food reformulation are essential for high-population countries like China. Meanwhile, smaller economies should focus on food sovereignty and increasing the availability of affordable fresh produce. Improving dietary quality must remain a central pillar of global heart disease prevention strategies to counter an aging population.
