In addition, a second experiment employed a four-choice version of the Eriksen flanker task to minimize potential confounds. Although the observed effects were smaller in this version, the diffusion model analyses still confirmed the significance of these findings. Overall, these results suggest that temporal cues can significantly enhance cognitive efficiency.
