In a cohort of 589 aggressive breast cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant therapy (NAT), conversions in ER (7.8%), PR (16.0%), and HER2 (up to 18.6%) status were observed, mostly from positive to negative. HER2-positive tumors showed the highest pathologic complete response. These findings highlight the importance of re-evaluating hormone and HER2 receptor status in residual disease to guide tailored post-NAT treatment strategies.
