The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a critical directive to all medical colleges and postgraduate institutions in India. They must submit information regarding NEET PG 2025 admissions for the academic year 2025-26 through the Admission Monitoring Portal. This crucial online submission window will close on April 8, 2026. Therefore, all concerned institutions must act promptly to ensure compliance with this directive.
This notification refers to a Public Notice issued by the Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of the NMC on March 30, 2026. Subsequently, the NMC has reiterated the importance of this online data filling process. The primary objective is to maintain transparency and adherence to regulations in postgraduate medical admissions. Consequently, colleges must meticulously upload all required details.
The National Medical Commission Act, 2019, underpins these regulations. It ensures that admissions to PG Diploma, MD/MS, DM, and M.Ch. courses align with judicial decisions and established MCI/NMC Regulations.
Medical colleges are required to ensure that all postgraduate admissions are strictly merit-based and transparent. Any deviation from these regulations may result in the discharge of students and action against the institution. Therefore, accurate and timely data submission is paramount.
To facilitate this, colleges should visit the NMC website homepage, specifically the "COLLEGE LOGIN" section. The portal URL is https://www.nmc.org.in/ActivitiWebClient/login. The onus of providing true, correct, and authentic information rests solely with the concerned college. Any incorrect submission may prompt the NMC to initiate legal action. Furthermore, only data uploaded through the Student Admission Entry portal will be used for monitoring purposes. Hard copies are not required.
If colleges experience any difficulty accessing the NMC website or logging in, they should send an email to support.pgmonitoring@nmc.org.in with the subject "Difficulty in logging in." Ultimately, student names will not appear on the NMC website if their details are not submitted by the deadline.
State and Union Territory Directorates of Medical Education also need to submit admission details via email within two weeks of the last admission date. Additionally, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET PG counselling for various quota seats.
