Cancer survivors often struggle with long-term nutritional issues after completing intensive treatment cycles. Researchers recently conducted a pilot feasibility study to determine if a mobile nutrition app cancer survivors use could effectively bridge the gap in dietary self-management. The study, conducted at a tertiary center in Korea, assessed 24 participants over four weeks to evaluate engagement and clinical outcomes.
Participants showed high engagement, averaging 2.3 sessions daily with a median adherence rate exceeding 85%. This finding suggests that mHealth tools are accessible and beneficial across different age demographics.

These preliminary results pave the way for larger randomized controlled trials to confirm long-term efficacy.
