Max Healthcare has announced plans to build a new Max Healthcare Lucknow hospital at Shaheed Path. Specifically, the board approved a major investment of ₹1,400 crore for this 712-bed greenfield facility. This development represents the hospital chain's second medical facility in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Consequently, the company aims to meet the rising demand for tertiary care services across the region. Furthermore, the organization expects to commission this modern facility by financial year 2030.
Notably, this project is a key part of the group's aggressive expansion into non-metro healthcare markets. Therefore, the corporate chain has set a target of operating 10,000 beds by the fiscal year 2030. In addition, they recently completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Odisha-based Kalinga Hospital. Meanwhile, the company also signed an agreement to develop a new 450-bed hospital facility in Pune. Consequently, these strategic moves will allow the healthcare brand to deliver high-quality clinical care in emerging regions.
During the fourth quarter of FY26, the company recorded a gross revenue increase of 10 percent year-on-year. In comparison, their total gross revenue reached ₹2,664 crore, driven primarily by higher outpatient volumes. Additionally, the company reported an 8 percent expansion in EBITDA, which stood at ₹682 crore. However, net profit grew by 3 percent to reach ₹387 crore during this same quarter. Ultimately, these strong financial metrics support their continuous regional expansion and infrastructural development.
