Innovative pedagogical strategies are essential to address declining student engagement in higher education worldwide. A recent study at Monash University evaluated the impact of a flipped learning escape room workshop on second-year physiology students. This interactive session focused on male reproductive physiology, specifically the diagnosis of a fictional medieval king’s infertility.
