Recent clinical research highlights the significant impact of Bladder Cancer Genetic Risk on patient outcomes. While well-known checkpoints like PD-1 are vital, scientists are now investigating next-generation checkpoints like BTLA and HVEM. However, these associations require further validation in larger studies because multiple testing reduced statistical significance. Therefore, these findings underscore the potential importance of immune checkpoint pathways in cancer pathogenesis.
