A study investigated prognostic risk factors in perforator artery disease (PAD) patients with ischemic stroke. Among 181 patients, 26.5% had unfavorable outcomes. Increased age, higher NIHSS score, and elevated NLR were independent risk factors for poor prognosis. A diagnostic model incorporating these factors showed high specificity and sensitivity. NLR could serve as a potential prognostic biomarker for stroke in PAD.
